METAL CONSTRUCTION PRODUCTS

Galvanized steel is carbon steel coated with zinc on two sides by a continuous hot-dip process. The process results in a layer of zinc on both sides of a steel sheet that adheres to the steel by an iron-zinc alloy bonding that is formed during a diffusion process while the heated steel sheet is in contact with the molten zinc.

We sell G-90 galvanized steel in thicknesses ranging from 10 gauge to 28 gauge. We only sell prime material. We carry sheets up to 60" wide and 12' long.

Our fabrication process includes shearing, brake forming, rolling, band-sawing, cutting, hole-punching, lock-seaming, spot-welding, and soldering.

Galvanized Steel

Paint grip, or bonderized steel, is galvanized steel that has put through a phosphate bath and a chromate dry.  The process produces a primer to the steel for painting.  The material should be immediately painted after installation.  Exposed phosphate coating is prone to white rust.

An alternative to bonderized galvanized steel is galvannealed steel.  Galvanealed steel is carbon steel coated with zinc on both sides by continuous hot-dipping. After the sheet exits the coating bath, it is put through an in-line heat treatment that converts the entire coating to zinc-iron alloy.  The surface created can be painted without pretreatment. It is designed to be painted, which will lower it's corrosion rate.

We sell paint grip steel in thicknesses ranging from 10 gauge to 26 gauge.  We carry sheets up to 48" wide and 12' long.

Our fabrication process includes shearing, brake forming, rolling, band-sawing, cutting, hole-punching, lock-seaming, spot-welding, and soldering.  We do not paint.

Stainless Steel

Stainless Steel is a steel alloy with a minimum of 10.5% chromium content by mass. The chromium forms a passive film of chromium oxide that prevents surface corrosion and blocks corrosion from spreading into the metal's internal structure.

There are different grades and surface finishes of stainless steel. We most commonly work with 304 2B (standard finish) and 304 #3 (brushed finish). Other finishes are subject to availability. We are able to fabricate 16 gauge to 26 gauge stainless steel, but can supply sheets up to an 1/8" thick, 60" wide and 12' long.

Our fabrication process includes shearing, brake forming, rolling, band-sawing, cutting, hole-punching, lock-seaming, spot-welding, and soldering.

Aluminum

Aluminum is a soft, durable, lightweight, ductile metal. We carry standard mill finish, clear anodized, and diamond tread plate. Other types are subject to availability. The thicknesses we are able to fabricate range from .025mil to 3/16".  The sheet sizes range from 60" wide to 12' long

Our fabrication process includes shearing, brake forming, rolling, band-sawing, cutting, hole-punching.

Embossed Metal

Galvalume

Prepainted Colors

16 oz copper or 24 gauge thickness is used for roofing flashing.  Less corrosive than standard metal flashing.

Our fabrication process includes shearing, brake forming, rolling, band-sawing, cutting, hole-punching, lock-seaming, spot-welding, and soldering.

Copper

We carry embossed metal for cold storage construction.   Our embossed material is 26 gauge, and comes in polar white, sandstone, and stainless steel. Other colors are subject to availability.

Our fabrication process includes shearing, brake forming, rolling, band-sawing, cutting, hole-punching, lock-seaming.
Galvalume steel is carbon steel coated with aluminum-zinc alloy by a continuous hot-dip process.  The nominal coating is made up of 55% aluminum and 45% zinc.  A small amount of silicon is included in the coating alloy to provide adhesion to the steel substrate during fabrication.

We fabricate galvalume in thicknesses ranging from 24 gauge to 26 gauge.  We carry galvalume sheets up 48" wide and 10' long.

Our fabrication process includes shearing, brake forming, rolling, band-sawing, cutting, hole-punching, and lock-seaming.
Our pre-painted colors have a thickness of 24 gauge. The coatings are factory applied, oven-baked finishes based on polyvinylidene fluoride resin.  The pre-painted galvalume substrate comes in a variety of colors:

dark bronze, seal brown, surrey beige, matte black, sandstone, mansard brown, colonial red, terra cotta, copper metallic, regal white, brite white, buckskin, champagne metallic, slate grey, granite, silver metallic, charcoal grey, old town grey, dove grey, leadcoat, regal blue, slate blue, patina green, weathered galvalume, galvalume- plus, felt-green, evergreen, hemlock green.
